13 of the Huazhong University of Science & Technology delegates, which included Chinese local government authorities, Huazhong University of Science & Technology leaders, and enterprise leaders visited Toronto from March 1 to March 4. On March 2 morning, members of delegation visited University of Toronto’s Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, accompanied by Canadian Chinese General Chamber of Industry & Commerce president and members. They carried on friendly scholarly exchanges with the school’s leaders, teachers and the students, and yielded the preliminary result.

In order to welcome " Huazhong University of Science & Technology School of Management delegation” CCGC held a evening feast at First Markham Place’s Diamond Banquet Hall on March 2. They invited the Consul General of P. R. China in Toronto, officials from three levels of Canadian government, the Chinese-Canadian immigrant leader, successful Canadian entrepreneur representative, and the media. The Consul General of P. R. China, Taoying Zhu; the Canadian Chinese General Chamber of Industry & Commerce President, Xin Shu; Liberal M.P. Derek Lee; Ontario’s Minister of Revenue, Michael Chan; immigrant leader Hughes Eng, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Canada) assistant director (public relations), Stephen Siu; head of Huazhong University of Science & Technology delegation, Fang Liu; and Qianjiang routine deputy mayor, Zongguang Zhang all made lively speeches. Well-known violinist Shanshan Chu and famous Yangtze River art singing group singer Guiping Zhao performed splendid programs for the guests. The entire party was arranged magnificently and the attendants gave high appraisals.
